Friday, September 28th, 2007Iron Man
Friday, September 28th, 2007Iron Man is now a live action movie. Yet another comic book hero has been given life on the big screen.
Iron Man is the story of Tony Stark, a genius who completed his degree in electrical engineering from MIT while still a 15 yr old. After losing his parents to an automobile accident when he was 20 sumthing, he inherited their large company - Stark International.

Out of pure ingenuity he created a lot of new gadgets and technology, but mostly he concentrated his effort into making weapons - missiles, tanks? etc giving rise to his nickname: The Merchant of Death.
However on an unfortunate day (I’m not really sure how he got into a battlezone in the first place) he was captured by a group of terrorists who subsequently demanded that he made for them a super weapon. Severely wounded by shrapnels (from an explosion prior to his capture) lodged in his heart, he was operated upon by a fellow captive who happen to be an accomplished doctor/physicist.
The doc created for him a crude chest plate that sustains his life. It was there, while in captivity, under the guise of making a weapon for the terrorists that he created his first hi tech armor thus becoming Iron Man.
Once he got back home. He improved the design of his armor, so now it looks more like this: (neat eh)
Thus, Tony Stark is reformed. Having experienced the horror of war himself, he has become essentially, a good guy haha

".On Monday, an employee found the bag at the
bottom of the staircase of a shoplot in PJS1/48 and brought it into her
workplace, thinking that it belonged to her boss.
Her boss later opened the bag and found the naked body of a girl in a
foetal position.
Police found bruise marks on her neck, suggesting strangulation, and a brinjal and a cucumber inserted in her private parts.."
WTF! I so do hope this kind of unfortunate event is not a cancerous one ie: growing and spreading coz If I don’t, I won’t be able to sleep tonight. I also think I know what this shows, it shows that there is decay within our society..a rotting portion, vile, black as death and knows no bound. Deterioration within the fabric of our society must be cast out and destroyed. Whoever did this deserves the harshest form of punishment that our Malaysian law can mete out. My deepest condolences go out to the family of adik Nurin Jazlin Jazimin.
Hitman - edited
Tuesday, September 11th, 2007I’m not exactly free right now, but what the heck, I like photo editing. Deeming the facial characteristics of the actor who plays 47 in hitman the movie as unfit/too soft/less mean, I have taken the liberty of editing his face
So, below are pictures of 47 from the game, an edited version of 47 from the movie and the original version.
a) 47 From the game.
b) Edited 47 from the movie.
c) Original 47 from the movie.
Hitman: The Movie
Monday, September 10th, 2007Last night, on the way to dinner with my friends somewhere
in PJ, I saw an ad on a medium sized billboard. Hitman poster is out! No fancy
pictures or anything like that yet, all you can see on the poster is the word
"HITMAN" in red lettering against deep black background. It’s coming
to cinemas this November.
For the uninitiated, Hitman is a movie adaptation of a video
game by the same name. In the game, us the players will assume the identity of
a cold blooded contract killer whose name is merely 47, a number which is actually taken
from the barcode tattoo he has at the back of his head.

Having played the all Hitman game series, starting with ‘Codename47’
in 2001, ‘Silent Assassin’, ‘Contracts’, to ‘Blood Money’ in 2006, I can’t help
but feel a little excited and curious about this new upcoming movie. So when I
got back from dinner I started browsing the net, looking for the latest
trailer, pictures or whatever other media available.
The result; I found the latest released trailer, two new
posters and a number of photos. Hmm…the trailer gives us viewers a rough
explanation about Mr.47, his early years, what he does, why he does it, and a
bit of what he will face (which is what the movie is all about).
I must say that I cringed the first time I watched the
trailer. The people behind the movie have changed 47’s history and perhaps his
motive too.
I’d like to think that the best thing about 47 in the game
is his cold bloodedness, he’d kill anyone for the right amount of money –
innocent or not, and he’d carry out his hits without flinching even a bit. He’s
somewhat of a villain himself actually.

The description given in the trailer is indeed different. Instead
of a cold blooded professional contract
killer, 47 is described as a man brought up by a secret underground church and
is trained and utilized by this church to rid this world of dangerous criminals
– he’s now a savior of mankind.
Plus, the guy who played as 47 just doesn’t look as mean as
the character from the game series.
I just hope that the movie won’t suck
Warning!
Wednesday, September 5th, 2007An interesting observation made by some guys that I think is worthy of pondering as it contains a truth that is rarely admitted.
There is evidence that some women are more susceptible to destructive
behavior than others. The goal is to spot these gals before things get
out of control, and know how to handle a potentially dangerous
situation.
She’s irrationally jealous
A little jealousy can be healthy for the relationship, but when it becomes irrational and
leads your lovebird to start testing you or checking up on you every
hour on the hour when you’re apart, you might have a potential stalker
on your hands.
Be wary of women who call a few times late at
night or even in the early hours of the morning. Some women even go as
low as getting one of their girlfriends to seduce you in order to test
your loyalty and see if you’ll bite.
She commits embarrassing public displays
If she likes to scream and scold you loudly and in public, then she’s
showing early signs of an individual who likes to have control at all
costs — including embarrassment — to achieve her goals.
She’s emotionally unstable
If you can’t tell the difference between her being happy, mad or sad by
looking at her facial expressions, then you might have a problem.
Sure women are known to be emotional, but that doesn’t mean that she
has to cry every five minutes when she doesn’t get what she wants.
She controls your life
Your new favorite color is pink, apparently tofu tastes better than
steak, figure skating has become more exciting than hockey, and now you
absolutely cringe when looking at beautiful women.
Be cautious of women who like to impose their likes and dislikes upon
men — especially those who say, "I know you don’t like it honey, but
trust me, what I’m doing will be good for the relationship. You’ll
thank me one day."
She needs constant attention
She
cannot spend a moment without speaking to you, or calls your portable
phone, your home, pages you, then calls your portable, your home, and
then back to your portable, your home, and leaves the following
message: "I know you’re home, pick up the phone." Then calls your
portable phone, your home, pages you, then calls your portable… you
get the point.
She makes paranoid assumptions
If
you can’t come home late from work (I’m talking 5 minutes late here)
without her asking too much, or if you happen to look at
another woman, and she asks, "So would you go out with her? Huh? Would you go out with her, you bastard?", then you might be in bigger trouble than you
think.
Caution, if that devilish voice of hers makes it back
into the conversation, you might want to keep your mouth shut for your
own safety — especially if she starts laughing like that guy in
Michael Jackson’s "Thriller."
